Covid-19 Relief to the Aged

With a mission to improve the welfare of children and women in deprived regions of the world, Africodia Foundation on 15th May, 2020 delivered food items to aged women in the Madina Zongo community.

Africodia Foundation Collaborates with MP for Adenta to Support Amrahia Community JHS

Africodia Foundation led by its Founder Moussa Touh(Prince Nlassindi Wadada), on Friday, 20th August, 2021 in collaboration with the Member of Parliament for the Adenta Constituency; Honourable Mohammed Adamu Ramadan visited the Amrahia Community JHS.

About the foundation

We are a non-profit organization working in underserved communities in Ghana, to help improve livelihoods through access to quality education and healthcare. Our vision is to bring together global insights and local ingenuity to eradicate poverty, advance equity and secure strong futures through access to quality education. Africodia is working with underserved communities to empower people to raise themselves out of poverty and unto a path of prosperity through education.

OUR FOCUS

We focus on 3 main areas

Our main focus is on improving the educational welfare of children, supporting hospitals and supporting communities with water challenges.

Enriching Education

We work for a world where everyone has access to books by providing books to school libraries to help teachers teach and children learn.

Health Aid

We donate hospital equipment to health centers in underserved communities.

Youth Empowerment

Creation of opportunities for young people to be equipped through skills training and entrepreneurship to lead change in their communities.

OUR PROCESS

How We Work

Identify

With our local agents on the ground, we identify communities that need our support within our main areas of interest. We talk to the community leaders as well some members to be sure our support is welcome. We then move to sorting the list we have gathered.

Sort

After gathering a list of communities or people who need our support, we meet with our team to deliberate on which of them deserves our support most. We will love to support all communities at the same time but unfortunately our resources can only allow some groups at a time.

Support

With the help of our partners and donors we move out to support the people or communities we have identified and sorted. This is the moment that brings happiness to the people we help and to our own faces.
